confused need some questions answered
alright guys im new to caddies and all there quirks.i have a 1998 seville sls with a factory bose sound system and i would like to install a aftermarket in dash nav/dvd
player so i can use the nav, bluetooth and other features.im confused on the install stuff with the security system. i have been reading alot of info and its not real clear to
me.from my understanding from reading cadi509's post for the most part besides a install kit ill need my navi unit and a gmos-06 to install and all should work good?
but at the same time i have read about having to keep the stock HU in the vehical with the serial data wires still hooked up? from my understanding the gmos-06 takes care of this.
some clairifacation would be highly appriciated
