I have a 2003 seville sls with the bose system. Works great. Question is, can I get a stock radio, gps, etc with the features of the original radio? If so, is it a direct replacement (no major rewiring)? I don't know much about in dash gps units, have never seen one in a seville like mine. If somebody has a picture of one that would be great. Is it worth my time and money to do this? Also, ballpark price if anybody knows. I'm just a sucker for electronic gadgets. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: gps system
Yes you can, it requires some repining or better yet manufacturing an extension/adapter harness that shift some pins in the HU connector.
Many, many posts on this subject, use to be a very popular upgrade.
There are costs involved:
DVD NAV unit
Unit VIN clear (or just dump and reinstall the firmware if you have the disk).

Re: gps system
Figured you'd be the man that would know. Serious time and bucks envolved. I think until the time comes for a new ride with this stuff already in it, I'll just suck it up and plug in the Garmin. Thanks man.
