Aftermarket sub and amp.. won't work after car is shut off

Ok.. I had this happen with my '98 Deville and now my 2000 Deville. I hooked up a sub and amp both with and without an LOC. Everything works great, but once I turn off the car and turn it back on next time there is no sound going to the subs. I have to pop the trunk, disconnect the rca's to the amp and plug them back in for it to work. Any ideas???
