2003 Deville Base Model w/ Bose. How to add subwoofer to factory system.

Hey, looking to add a subwoofer to the factory radio system, but don't think it's as easy as using a Line-Out Convertor.
The car has Bose, and I've been told it can be a real PITA.
How can I add a subwoofer with monoblock amp safely, and effectively to this vehicle?

Connect it to the factory subwoofer amp.

I think there is a 24-pin connector attached to the amplifier.
Anyone have a pin-out, so I know which two wires to splice the Line-Out Convertor into?
