    01 Deville DHS Audio Question

Hope someone can help me. I have a 2001 deville dhs. I installed a double din head unit and used the gmos-o6 to retain all functions except wheel controls. now my question is i am thinking of changing all 4 door speakers and hooking them up to a 4 channel amp. which means i will need to disconect the front and rear rca's from the head unit to the gmos-o6 so i can run new ones from head unit to the amp. what will there be any issues with doing this? I am sort of figuring that i will lose my chimes. I am not concerned with onstar. Has anyone done this before? Thanks.....
