How did you know about that? just wondering and thanks alot its real eazy to do and the parts i found em at my local electronics shop called jay tronics mine cost 10 bucks a piece but they had them on hand instead of ordering. i used quick connectors and it works perfectly now.

Hmm this is strange. In my STS I removed my factory sub completely and my LOC works perfectly without any resistors or anything. Maybe its a Deville thing.

Do I need to mount the resistors to the sub box or anything like that?
I have no idea what I am looking for. Can you give me a model number or link to the actual part I need?

Also, does this apply to the cabin speakers too or just the sub? I want to replace them all.

Thanks man. I said screw it and replaced everything. New head unit, new front and back speakers, new subs, 2 new amps, adapter for chimes and retained accessory power, and an adapter for steering wheel controls.
