    installing an aftermarket cd player

    talked with crutchfield advisor and they told me all i need is a mounting kit and the Metra/Axxess GMRC-03 to install my cd player and i won't have any problems is this true? I've hooked up many cd players before but never in a caddy. thinking of having system professionally installed.

    yeah just make sure you fuse your memory aka constant wire with a 5 amp inline

    If your Deville is BOSE equipped you can install an OEM Cadillac In Dash CD from a '98-'00 Seville/Eldorado. Is just a matter of dealer clearing the VIN from the replacement unit (may cost up to $50).

    its not bose just base tape deck not amplified.
