    Static in deville

I am thinking about buying a beautiful 95 deville 4.9 liter. It has a stock head unit with cd player. After turning it on, it started making a scragly static sound and 15 seconds later you could hear a faint sound of radio or cd.

The sound only came on the right side of the car and when i faded it to left, it made a faint sound. Could this be a big issue or a simple fix??

    THanks in advance

    Re: Static in deville

Well, the sound system is pretty complicated (the BOSE one). It could be a small GND issue or a bigger one (amplifier problem). In any case is not easy to diagnose, you need to know your electronics pretty well and obviously you need a very accurate schematic.
