    Angry Time to upgrade

I've always wanted more bass in my Cadi and now that both the front door speakers are partially blown its time. I'm thinkin new speakers all around, amp, and sub(s). I am fine with the stock head unit to keep the process a little simpler and cheaper.

    I have a '00 Seville STS with bose(CD changer removed for ipod2car)

I'm hoping not to spend much more than $500 but obviously I might have to.

So, what should I get? I know I've read about the Bose speakers each having their own amp?? Do I need a special kind of speaker? And I'm assuming it would not be worth it to get all new Bose stuff?

    Suggestions/help please?

Aftermarket speakers will not run on the stock Bose amp properly. In order to keep the factory HU you will have to tap into the speaker wires and use 3 LOC's (line-out converter) to hook up a 4-channel amp for the speakers, and a mono or 2-channel amp for your sub(s). Will definitely be more than $500....Consider 2 pairs of component speakers for front and rear, will blow your ears out with treble...Bose sounds like complete garbage once you've ripped it all out of your Caddy and replaced it with something nice.
