    Question Extremely loud bass buffer...

    Hello everyone at CF!

I recently got a system put in in my 2000 Seville and noticed something. Whenever I turn on the radio there is about a 5-10 second burst of an extremely loud bass noise. Then it shuts off and plays normal.

I took it to the place it was installed at and they told me that this could not be avoided because I have a stock HU.

    Is this true?

And I have researched the replacement and have found that most people replace speakers and all costing between 1 and 2 grand. I can't dish out that kind of money right now and was also wondering if just replacing the HU is possible? If so, which one would work?

    Line out converter
is what they installed to get the rca input from your stock amp to your external amp
they installed it POST amp rather then PRE amp which increases the input sound thus a louder output sound but you also will hear the pop as the amp switches between sources.
Your choices are to go back and have it installed properly or buy a good quality loc which tunes it out.
