2003 deville DHS + Pioneer AVIC-F900BT?

Im New here. Thank you for your help.

I have a 2003 Deville DHS with a Bose (non nav) system.

I want to upgrade my audio.

I have been looking at several Pioneer head units such as the AVIC-F900BT.

My several questions..

First, will this system work. by work I mean is there a way to install this pioneer system AND keep everything else including steering wheel controls and OnStar working properly?

Second, Is there another comparable system that is more compatible with my DHS?

Third. How are the stock speakers and amp? Will I be dissappointed if I keep them?

Fourth. How complicated is it to also replace the speakers and amp?

factory nav is cheaper and keeps everything working

with a 900bt yea it can be made to work (except the cd changer) with everything but also expect horrible load times from any of the F series nav systems

Well, the factory nav seems to not be cheaper in actuality. I'm seeing them for around $500 on ebay, about the same as im seeing the 900bt for. The pioneer has more features as well.

I dont have a cd changer so thats not a problem.

So my next question is, how do I make the pioneer work? What do I need to do?

avic bt900 goes for at least 600 bucks (retail is about double that)
plus 100 for the wire harness adapter with onstar (gmos-06)
plus 100 for the pac-swix to keep your wheel controls
plus 50 for the double din kit
and about 100-200 dollars to have it custom installed into your car

so at a minimum your looking at a shade under a grand fyi
