The reason im asking is i had the wheel swapped out of my 04 for the wood & leather one from a 02 now everything work the same DVD still plays and you can hear it GPS works except for the voice guidance i cant hear it now. The radio still fades out when the voice guidance is given the command. The voice guidance volume is set to max. Has anyone had this happen to their Navigation |

Does the chime sound when you open the door with the key in the ignition? Sounds like there may be a pin change between the years...doesn't the '04 have a heated steering wheel option?

does your arrow point in one single direction at all times and NEVER points in another no matter where you turn?
theres another way to monitor this internally with the unit through the diagnostic functions on the screen but i need the part number from your specific nav unit to give you the correct code |

Could you give me the correct code? I have tried 1791 and 1971 but no diagnostic screen appears. My nav is a 25734875. |

I will try 6497. Is there another button to press after putting in 1971 to get the diagnostic screen? |

I forgot to check the 6497 code...I'll try that later. |
