What would I need to order for a 2005 STS V8 with the base radio package? (i.e. no navi) I believe from your site that I'd be good with the BlueSTAR kit, but, I wanted to confirm with you first before ordering. Also, any ideas where the OnStar VIU is located on the 2005+ STS?

I have a 2001 sts and i would love to have the bluetooth! I have no idea of where to even begin, but was wondering if rusty is selling this as a kit yet or if anyone can point me in the right direction? thanks

so for a 05 cts-v i would just need this kit and to disconnect the onstar in the trunk? are there any negative effects people have found using this in a 05 cts-v?

i just placed my order.... i just noticed you are in NY, Im in jersey if you ever need to test anything on a cts-v 2005

hey chris i just installed the unit and it works. it took me more time to find cable ties for it then to actually install the unit.

i have a few things that i'm wondering about with it but i'll play with it for a bit before i bug you. it may just have to do with the bt stack on my phone.

Just ordered my kit for my '04 CTS with analog OnStar. Was holding out for a solution that does A2DP like the Parrot (but without the complaints), but this is so clean and so functional. I also didn't want to get screwed waiting so long that the discontinued Motorola module becomes too difficult to source. Which reminds me, does everyone suffer the 10 second delay when receiving calls, or was it just the one person who repeatedly brought it up?

I'm looking forward to installing this and enjoying the benefits right away. I drove 94k miles over 4 1/2 years on my last car, and I'm OTP almost every time I get in the car. This will be a most welcome addition.

i will say that it seems that the can system in this vehicle ( well i hope its can or its just slow to wake) needs a few mins to fully be up and running. Once i get a call come in and it connects after that my setup is fine. also my static is gone and it seemed to be a bad bt connection.

i still have a bit of lag when answering a call with the rear view mirror buttons but i look at who is calling me and then since the phone is in my hand answer it that way. all in all im very happy with it. just need to either work around the few minor issues... but i would still buy it again just due to the ease of install.

mine has the same issue with the choppy sound at times but it comes and goes. my biggest gripe is it not willing to pick up the call properly maybe 1 out of every 5 times.
