One more time. I have searched threads for weeks but..
01 Eldorado Non Bose am/fm cass. I have a source button on HU.
Want to add a cd player. Searched "Flea Bay" and find non bose single cd HU that "might" fit. Still wont work? Since I have a source button..I can add a trunk unit if I can find the right one? A 2001 or older unit?
Which model 12 disk am I looking for? Several...to sort through. A serial # or part #? Fastest way to find plug in trunk...remove side panel or bottom panel and spare? And this mysterious extra lead wire that may..or not be there on plug.. and needs to be removed?

On that wire that coming from your trunk. Cd changer cords have two types ai-net and m-bus but by the year of you r car I say it would be ai-net. Inside the connector is it 6 prongs in inside the tip of it flush with 6 holes a pic of the tip of the cord might help

Thanks...S.W. ...I found one on E-Bay a 1999 12 disc.
Less that 5 min. in trunk and ....I was playing CD'S.
So easy...could not believe it!
