Bose Gold Series Radio

I was just at the local JY, and I spotted a Bose Gold Series radio in a 91 Seville. I'm pretty sure it's a direct swap into my 93 Deville, but my real question is, will it sound a lot better than the one I have now, or about the same? And do I need any other components, like a stock sub, special harnesses, etc?

You will need more than just a radio for improved sound you will also need new speakers.
