96 caddy radio help

I have a 1996 cadillac deville. I want someone to verbally guide me through the removal of the factory radio and instalation of an aftermarket radio. I will mail the person 10 bucks.

STS2003 i cant PM yet, and need to ask a question about this. I removed fact radio (99 Deville Concours), suffered consequences, and now want to wire HU in to trunk. did a test run and now HU isnt recognizing amp. checked seat and wires are cut at amp. Am I wasting my time? harness is gone for the amp, just cut wires left. My question, is wether or not the amp not being hooked up is gonna cause the same problems? no keyless, no lights, no trip memory etc etc I've gotten the car to recognize stock HU again, is this enough?
