Hi, 1st post. I have 1999 Seville SLS, and I have a blown speaker in the dash (right) and one in door (tweeter by the mirror). I want to identify what system I have, it is not Bose, I have 3 speaker (highs) in the dash, tweeter and mid in each front door, mid in each rear door, and subwoofer on rear deck, that's a total of 10 speakers. I haven't been able to find anywhere what system I have and what I can replace those that are blown or not working. If someone has any idea what it is, please let me know, I would greatly apreciate it, thanks all in advance, Richard H.
well if you dont have bose you have identified the system
the non bose system
and replacement of non bose speakers i have beaten to death many times
you need a 2 ohm speaker to replace them with, before you ask why search as the explanation can be found
when Dadillac replaced the speakers in his 04 SLS he said they were all 2 ohm and he replaced them all with 2 ohm infinity kappas which worked perfect
id believe and follow his advice
the fact yours says 4 ohm though does in fact mean they are a 4 ohm speaker so its your discretion on what to do...
