BION, I can't find any specific reference in the OM or NAV Manual as to what solution to use to clean the screen. Any suggestions?

A microfiber (fibre?) cloth, you can get them at most auto parts stores, Walmart or Costco. Works great.

I remember reading that they suggest using rubber alcohol. Check one of the manuals - it's there. I'll double check tomorrow to make sure that I got things correctly so hold off for now.

I'd head for Walmart and get some of that stuff for computer screens (flat screens). It's cheap and safe

Manual suggests using ipropyl or rubbing alcohol applied to a clean cloth. It also warns not to spray anything directly at the screen, which is really just common sense.

Most of those 3M cleaners are exactly that - towelettes moistened with rubbing alcohol.

Agree with you even though we do not have the NAV screen. Do have computer with LCD screen and they recommend the same. Did find that I need to be sure the cloth is wet enough to clean properly. If the screen is anything like the LCD it is probably best to avoid touching the screen. Difficult to do when one has been accustomed to touching the CRT screens.
