93 Eldo speaker problem

Hi guys,

In normal use the sound in my 93 Eldo is absolutely fine but when i turn up the volume and a certain bass kicks in the left rear speaker can't keep up.

It start to disform the sound.. (lower sound)

What do you think, would this be the speaker or the amp?

Found a set on Ebay from a 1992 STS.

Any idea if that would that be the same as in the 93 Eldo?

direct replacement just have to hope those are in good shape as this is a common issue...

An update for all who is interested.

Yesterday received a replacement set (including the speakers)

Initially replaced the AMP on the faulty speaker but no joy..
Means that the actual speaker was messed up.

Replaced the whole unit (speaker and AMP) and then noticed that the right rear speaker was having a little crack in sound as well.
Whilst everything was open already i replaced that whole unit as well and now all is perfect.

As i see it.. i have at least 1 good AMP for sale and one unit where either the AMP or the speaker is lost (anyone interested??)
