| 2003 STS Nav problem-vehicle position way off
I recently purchased a 2003 STS with the nav system. The moving map display worked great until a week ago, when I accidentally messed-up the vehicle position, making the car think it was 20 miles outside of town (Abilene, TX). I eventually found out how to adjust the vehicle position (SETUP>Nav.Settings>System Config.>Adjust Vehicle Pos.) and corrected it. Now, the problem is that every day I have to re-adjust the vehicle position because at worst it will be way off, and at best will be in the right spot but facing the wrong direction. When I bought the car it didn't have the Navigation System manual that was supposed to come with it, so perhaps I'm doing something wrong, and not the car. Thank you. |
