I have been chomping at the bit to start this thread, so here goes.

My ATS is strapped to the dyno as I type this :)
Baseline pulls will ensue shortly, then we'll start tearing into this calibration and see what kind of safe, repeatable gains we can offer to the masses.

I'll keep you guys updated as progress is made

Mike my intune doesn't work,it looks like it doesn't know the pcm calibration. My car is 2014 Cadillac ATS 2.0t auto RWD. Please help me!

Hi Mike, i did some more testing yesterday. i woke up got on the road, punched it from about 55mph and i got pulled into the seat which i have not felt yet. sure enough the next time i punched it... blah.. it almost seems like i get a couple nice pulls within 10 minutes of driving then the tune is almost unnoticeable. do you suggest i start logging when driving? if so i just plug in the intune and hit start logging? =) looks like my intake air temp is between 70 - 110 degrees, my cat temp is between 1150 and 1750 degrees and my coolant temp between 190 and 200 degrees. i don't think this is a temp issue. it does look like i have an oil leak, but no rough idle (when the AC is off at least). anyone else seeing extreme inconsistency like this? thank in advance, Jon
I'm not near my car right now, so can't compare, but are you missing a bolt? Picture one, left side, between bolt one and two from top to bottom?

Wow I hope not Lol.. Can you check when you can? Thanks!

Afer reading some posts I know I'm not nuts now , this is one of the most inconsistent cars in terms of power . One minute it feels great and pulls very strong then when the power is needed say to pass someone it's like the hamster fell off the wheel. I've been too busy to log and post here but I really want to get it sorted out now. Am I better off logging with the intune or the torque app ?

Log with the intune please. I have seen some inconsistency. There are several factors at play. Cat temp is one, as it will go into COT when they get warm. Knock is another, the PCM will limit boost when there is knock. Poor oil control is another, which leads to knock and poor combustion.

We're working on a few things to try to lessen their impact on performance.

Thanks

If you still care, you are not missing a bolt. Just checked.
Glad to hear it thanks for checking.

ebomb321, You may want to check the torque on your turbo. My bolts were loose which was causing me to have boost leak (similar symptoms to what you're experiencing). I ended up having my turbo replaced due to worn bearings which I think was caused by the boost leak.

Mike, Where does the ATS read boost PSI? In the MAF sensor? Is this shown on the intune or trinity anywhere? What program do you use to read the logs?
I'll check it out when it stops raining =]

I've been running torque pro on my tablet with a Bluetooth obd adapter to check pid's in real time.

Trinity will show Boost, its under synthesized in the list or in the preloaded layouts we provide.

The car does not report actual boost, so we subtract MAP from BARO to get boost, so intune can record both of those but will not display it as boost.

Logs from our tools are played back using our Dataviewer software.

Thanks

I beleive it is calculated. The ATS has 2 bar map sensor and can measure 29.4 psi of boost. But, because normal atmospheric pressure is 14.7 psi the max is 14.7 psi of boost. With a little math and output of the map sensor you can show boost. Here is a link that is pretty good explanationhttp://www.robietherobot.com/storm/mapsensor.htm
