You won't like those once they're on the car. Also the stocks can be used but you'd have to chop them off the stock exhaust. I left the whole exhaust intact in case I want to trade it in for another ats and keep my exhaust, but put the stock back on

    Re: Any exhaust reviews?

Thats what i did with my exhaust, had them cut off the stock tips and add them on, I only used one magnaflow muffler as my wife has been the daily driver! I didn't keep the stock exhaust as i planned on keeping this car for a long time!! I would suggest that if you like to hear your exhaust, then def. go with two mufflers. I'll see if i can find a link to my setup i posted on here last year to give you guys an idea. I paid about $350 for my setup with one muffler.

Here is the link to the thread with some pics....

Also, here is a shity sound clip of the exhaust, my wife wasn't that interested in helping.... I think these were the same day i had the exhaust installed or maybe even the next day.

Also Keep in mind that the mufflers will break down as you drive and they do get louder. I'll try and post a current sound clip so you guys can get an idea of the exhaust at almost 1 year after install.

I'm think he means a big single muffler vs two smaller mufflers. There are other factors than size too, so ....

I know I'll never have what I want unless I go thru the headache and cost of trial and error since I would probably be the only customer. I want a single muffler and single tip (where the 2.5 is) that is lighter than the stock components and quieter but with no loss of performance.

have a diffuser made that would change the single exhaust outlet to the dead center like a cts-v/mini cooper S, and im in.

You could make that. Put a high flow round muffler on the back and see how it sounds. If it is too loud, go back to the shop and replace a straight section of pipe with a Dynotech race bullet. I used them to cut the noise on my Camaro when it was catless. Didn't really change the pitch, just made it a bit quieter. Like you, I don't feel the need to advertise my arrival.

I'd like center better. I just said where the 2.5 has it so I could use the 2.5 bumper cover.
