I've always dealt with clear coat that may have some swirls, light scratches, etc. I know the procedures for fixing that. However, I have no clue what to do with this one. I was loading up my trunk and I lost grip of some of the items, and a sharp edge went right into a point on my trunk area right above the rear Cadillac chrome trim piece. It didn't scratch, but rather pushed the clear coat. The following picture is the best image I have of the damage. It is small, but it bothers me because I know I directly did this. To describe it, if I run my finger over it, it feels raised. Its more like a pinch of the clear coat, than an actual scratch. It feels like you can almost grab it, and rip it away.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
