    Re: ATS4 questions

Another thread suggest that TC will not turn off if you TP is low, if this is true than it could case some difficulties. Sometimes people like to keep their tires a little low when in heavy snow to increase tire surface contact or they don't realize they are low. We need to know/find out what the TP lower limit is where it will not allow you to turn off TC because as you said TC will kill fwd progress in the heavy stuff.

Never heard that one, but good to know - FWIW I just keep the snow tires at the standard pressures.

    Re: ATS4 questions

We had 300 mm here this weekend and no ploughing for >36 hours on my street. Many sedans with front wheel drive bottomed out and stuck (many just pushed back into their driveways and quit) as there was only a single pair of ruts to follow. ATS 2.0 AWD, Snow Mode, TC left on, and with new Michelin Alpin PA4 winter tires - pushed right through, and very surprised, and pleased.

We're in the middle of huge ice storm. ATS4 and Goodyear tripletreads work great! Impressed

i have the same set up and same weather (montreal) and everything is ok. compare to my tl it slide a bit more when driving on sludge. ir drives more like my g37. i like the fact when exiting a turn, just a slight acceleration make the rear slide to place the car

    Re: ATS4 questions

We had 8" in the Des Moines area over the weekend; I'm running the run-flats that came with the car; no problems so far. I also use the "snow/ice" mode on our hill going up to the main street; works very well.
