    Navigation "Home" location

    Is there a way to set a Home destination in Navigation?

    My Garmin units have a simple shortcut for this that is very convenient. I would think the Cadillac does as well.

    When you have an active destination set for your home, press and hold one of the CUE preset buttons on the bottom of the screen. It saves your homer destination to the button. When you want to head home, just push it, then confirm - the button will have the red background to show it is active. Once I get onto familiar roads I then just press that button again (as long as it is still with a red background) and the route is cancelled without fussing with CUE voice commands and confirmations.

    As a safety suggestion, I think it would be a good idea not to have your exact home address on the Favorites button. It might be better to just put the nearest intersection as the home button. This way you won't be leading an interloper (carjacker, eg) to your home, but you will still have good navigation home.

    It's a moot point for me since I keep the insurance certificate and registration in the glove box.

    I doubt your average carjacker/interloper would be able to figure CUE out in order to navigate to your house anyway.
