Will Cadillac allow you to "purchase" 18 inch wheels for the more basic ATS's?

On the website and in the ATS pamphlet it says the only optional rims for the basic 2.0L Turbo are the 17 inch ones. But in my opinion the 18 inch rims make the ENTIRE LOOK of the car CLICK... and without them it just looks like... "MEH, could use nicer wheels" lol

    Wheels in question.
    2013_ats_exterior_455x204_wheels.jpg

I read the specs and mechanical fact sheets and it looks like everything is exactly the same between models where its offered and models where its not...

ANY past experiences with this guys? Anyway thanks a lot! Enjoy the World Series this week+

Yes, you can put the factory 18s on any ATS.

You might want to shop eBay for take-offs or find a dealer who replaced some 18s on another car and will sell them for less than retail. I wouldn't be surprised if the list price is sky high.

If you can find take offs they may come with tires which will save you some money there. Make sure if they do come with tires they have the TPMS sensors in them or you'll have to pay to have the tires taken off the rims and the sensors (from your stock wheels - or buy new ones) installed.

I'm with you on the 18s; they were the only ones that looked "right" for the car. I don't regret the upgrade one bit

I just bought a set of new 18s (like those pictured) off e-bay for $1k shipped (it was $215/wheel; no center cap). TPMS are ridiculously expensive, like $300/4. I will definitely be transferring mine from my 17s to 18s. Also, if anyone is looking for chrome (or black chrome) PVD service, both Detroit Wheel and Tire and California Chrome offer those services. DWT charges $650/4 and CC charges $175/wheel and offers tires/lugs/TMPSes. Shipping is about $150 per leg. Now I just need to sell my 17s...

Why are you sending people to Costco with no warning that is what the link is for? That is by no means the easiest or best way to see Cadillac options.

And I notice the link is not the generic one for the Costco Auto Program but has some additional parameters. Is it a referral link that you or someone else could benefits from?

Well you removed it but FYI, the link you had did not take me to the ATS options. It took me to the generic start page for Costco Auto but with some extra stuff in the link, which was what I was asking about. Sorry you got upset about somebody asking.

I just checked and apparently the web site doesn't let you go directly to a specific car configurator. The URL for a configurator isn't valid except for the session that navigated thru the maze to get there or at least had done so in the past. Would have been nice if it worked.

    100% Agree.
The Dealership I'm working with has agreed to make the switch.
Doing a 3 year lease , it increased the payment by $35 a month.
Going to pick up the new car on Tuesday , they sent pictures this morning with the Wheels installed, looks so much better/aggressive.

That link is a good deal for rims and tires. Could sell the stock ones on the car and recoup a lot of the cost.

Thanks for the link , may be a great deal for some other member wanting to upgrade.
Looking at the E-bay set . 1st problem is $1650 out of pocket , plus no sensors . So pay to have the sensors removed from stock wheels then put into the new set and rebalanced.
2nd issue I'm getting the AWD version . have to have square setup not staggered.
