    Buschur racing 3" exhaust pics

Couple pics of exhaust that we put together, going to send out and have it mandrel bent! All stainless steel, saved almost 70 lbs in weight from stck exhaust. Car still has stock down pipe but should have that made in next couple days! Car has magnaflow single muffler, and there is no drone in car driving down highway, but that might change after stock down pipe is changed!

I'm going to change bracket and move it behind the can instead of side/front

    Blackjak,
The car still has stock tune as of now, car has gained only 19 horsepower with intake and catback! My plans are to put car back stock, and run on dyno, then just have car reflashed and see gains with just flash, then install intake and catback and have car reflashed so I can get an idea of actual gains with this combo!

Love the White with black grille look.
I like your ID. What V8s do you hunt?

I also would like to hear the sound clip of this exhaust. No drone even after the down pipe change?

My guess is the restriction is from the stock downpipe. You really can't expect big gains without opening up removing cats or adding high flow cats further down the downpipe. Just a guess.

I do have hp Tuners software now and started messing around bit having had car on dyno yet. It's nice to see that at 6500 RPM in 3rd gear @20 psi of boost the injector duty cycle is at 15%! 128lb injectors are what's in turbo ats! Plus all alcohol conversion tables to run E85.
Once I get car tuned as is, I will be doing downpipe next, then this winter will do turbo kit, I'm looking into ordering stock cams and giving them to company we have had great success with before and possibly do custom grinds! That will depend how stock cams do with bigger turbo. There is good amount of adjustment being both cams are variable.

Hp Tuners did awesome job with software!! There also talking of a handheld device, which will be perfect for a lot of people!

That's a silly large injector for the ATS... That means the fuel system in stock form is capable of roughly 600 horsepower! (assuming the pumps can push out that much).

I've heard lots about running E85 - if there were more stations where it was available I might consider running it from time to time for giggles with a conversion kit. But at the moment it's just too hard to find.

That could be an interesting thing to delve deeper into. I remember the 4g63 with 272 cams very fondly - it barely could even idle and had no power on throttle tip in from idle - but when you got it to top end there was a *lot* of power. Depending on how much the variable systems can be controlled (and what their limits are...) that could make some interesting improvements. I ought to look into what cam developments there have been for the import guys recently and the LNF...

All I can do is groan at how much additional trunk well space could be added by moving the exhaust pipes and "tips" outboard on each side so they were just inside the corner wells. You could probably drop the well by 6" and get an 2-3 cubic feet of trunk space.
