Yes. It's pretty straightforward. The bulb housing slides out by prying from the right side with a flathead screwdriver. It uses a 194 T10 type bulb. I used a 4 SMD Canbus as in pic.

Stevo, the LED's are almost flush. I have been having the same thoughts and am planning to cut the molding a bit so i can push it through so its completely flush against the grill. It's about 3/4 inch on top of the original housing. I am planning to call dealership to find where i can find replacement moldings in case the cutting doesnt work, I will be ok without the led's if need be...as long as i have the HID's i am good. I got new rims the 18" upgrades and they are awesome...so content either way.ats rims 2.jpg

got mine a couple days ago the mounting studs have flange that prevents a full flush mounting, I plan on drilling out so as to achieve a more pulled in look I also plan to mount against the inside edge of the brake duct instead of the outside. I want the upturned part to point at/line up with my soon to be non amber turn signal and also the inner part of the duct is deeper

Thanks a lot. On another note, can someone tell me how to get to the map lights so I can change them to LEDs? I'm not sure how to pry open the plastic console.

get your fingers under the whole upper console and tug firmly it's held up with clips, probably easiest starting at a corner

ok found found a hyper flash fix cable and bought it night before last, then found a mounting plate for the resistor. so now will be fully ready for those LEDs going to try the plug and play cable first if doesn't work I'll splice in the resistors. actually more accurately my mechanic friend and I will not comfortable doing this without a babysitter.... lol besides it seems to me doing this on his lift beats wear and tear on my ass and knees (let the jokes begin)

Vwall, in order to access the map bulbs, you need to remove the entire plastic panel that houses the two map lights, On-Star, Homelink and sunroof controls. I recommend using a plastic tool to pry the panel away from the headliner just enough to fit your fingers and complete the removal. The panel is held in place by metal clips so it takes a bit of force to remove. Keep in mind that the panel will be connected by wires, so be careful not to pull any of them loose.

You know..you can almost recreate the stock look if you can get a small led to fit vertically alongside the stock lamp cover. Don't know if there is anything close, but thats any easy way to get the lights flush.

Hey not to hijack, but I have an xts and I installed the can bus proof LEDs in my reverse lights, and now after the car is locked the handles, reverse lights, and cue buttons stay on dim. I'm guessing you didn't run into this problem at all?

the lights were from ebay, they're the mustang DRL that several others here including the OP installed, i think the link is at the beginning of this thread, and the relay is from ijdmtoy.com. My mechanic and i had to do some filing and grinding to get them to sit flush, wasn't difficult, but if i had to do it again i would just get the these or these for an easier install.
