    Software update on dash electronics

I just got a 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0T Standard and the car overall brings a lot of smiles to a face of someone who seen and had great cars.

BACKGROUND: This car does not have the CUE. I frequently notice latency (huge delays) in infotainment response time, certainly long compared to the 2010 Audi A5 2.0T I got rid of. Sometimes also, when I'm seek XM stations, the dash station indicator updates nearly in real-time but the center dash display doesn't for a long while. Finally, I do not like the system not leaving where I previously left off when I'm playing off my SD card (as I'm used to in my former Audi). And either upon start-up or installation of my 16 GByte SD card with most of the memory full, the ATS takes 3-10 minutes before it's ready to play off it vs. < 5 seconds on my former Audi.

QUESTION: Is there a software driver update? And can such be owner updated by downloading onto a USB and plugging into the USB port/then following some directions? Or must Cadillac dealers only do such things?

    Thanks in advance.

    staged,
We'd be happy to check with your dealership for you to see if there's any kind of update. Please contact us either via private message or email at katie_lucille@gmexpert.com (include your name, contact information, the last 8 digits of your VIN, and the name of your dealership with your request).
