the crazy part is two mechanics on Monday and today couldn't get it to make the sound, good news is I was able to roll into service and without turning off the car got someone to hear it...... it was that and my video that convinced the factory to replace the turbo.

I trust they gave you a loaner. That definitely should not be driven. When it goes, the blades that get sucked thru the engine will scratch the hell out of the exhaust tips.

if engine blows someone.... either insurance or GM fixes it perfectly or buys me a new car....it's not precious

    Re: Trembling at idle

forgot to mention they updated my engine control module for the rough idle TSB now idles at 750 rpm instead of 600 rpm pretty smooth idle now mine never quite got to the level of stumble but it was rougher than it is now.

now that it's purring smoothly, watch my turbo cough up a vane and engine suck it in before turbo gets replaced on Tuesday

think so, they decided to update the car while they were waiting to hear from Detroit about noise issues from turbo, it's only been a day and a half but my car is definitely idling at a higher rpm

    Re: Trembling at idle

So mine (April 2013 build) has idled at 750 since I got it. Seems 600 RPM idle was a bit... ambitious... ?
