I think every ATS should be hand built with custom everything and the newest technology for all systems (including the W12 I want in it) and only cost $40000 because that's what I think and I know I'm right.

    what better technology is available?
how do you know it's available?
(just because another car has it does not mean it's available)
Really? You don't have to agree with my opinion but are you so set on disagreeing that you would post:

what better technology is available? 4-6 speed conventional automatics are dated, known fact
how do you know it's available? its safe to say its possible since the cog boxes are on the road

Now, ” (just because another car has it does not mean it's available)" is actually a valid response without throwing insults.

All of this is straight BS:

that's what this whole thread boils down to:
you're saying GM doesn't have the newest better transmission - "why only 6 cogs?" I posted a question, did not make a statement
we're saying there is no possible way that you can know that GM had a better alternative and didn't choose it - never made such a claim
we're even telling you why there was no better alternative and that GM is working on better transmissions that currently available - how do you know that (no better alternative)? I have as well heard GM is developing newer tech cog boxes
you keep saying we're not listening when you're obviously not listening to us - it’s a blog ideals are exchanged, well if all the estrogen was left at home
we get bored of you - I don't understand why mediocre is ok, that bores me

    Re: Why only 6 cogs?

do you listen to anything? here are the facts:

GM is working on an 8-speed.

    GM went in to bankruptcy.

    8-speed development delayed.

I don't know how we can make it more simple for you.
