I like the idea of red calipers. Not so much red covers.

No not the cheap plastic covers, these are custom made steel covers from MGP. I did the covers because paint eventually chips. These are NICE!

A good brake-caliper quality paint shouldn't chip. Powdercoating however is the the best option IMO. I do like the look.

Well they dont look bad...but I just had the Brembo's on my SS Powdercoated Fire engine Red with heated white brembo stickers put on overtop and it really does look better than covers.

...oh and paint shouldn't really chip either as long as it's been degreased

I had the MGP covers. They look good and can be taken off with clips to service the brakes. Not like the glue in type plastic ones. I just don't want to cover up my brembos.

Where can I get the caliper Cadillac decals from? Ones I have seen don't look like the OEM style writing?

becarefull!!!! when i worked at corvettes of houston as parts dept mngr we used to sell those (not because i wanted to) they are junk they come loose rattle (even with red loctite) and even had a few come off at destroy the wheels and chew up the calipers. we finally got to stop selling them after that. if you want red calipers for same price as you paid for the silly covers you could have had them powder coated. and for less yourself.

Thanks for the heads up smurfkiller! I'll keep an eye on them. I don't drive the ATS that often and when I do, it's not long distance. Also, I have friends who have had these particular covers for years, no issues with them, and they race their vehicles. Thanks again for the warning.

The mgp ones are on with clips not the glue. The clips hold well.Yes the other ones you glue on. Glue ones will come off.

I have looked around for decals and no one has anything that can hold up to the heat. The other option is to get the logo painted on. I want my calipers painted but at the same time I don't want to lose the Cadillac logo. I know Cadillac will do them but I won't pay that money for it.

Yeah those stay on well. I installed them before. But everyone should stay away from the glued ones like smufkiller said. You can mess your brakes up and other things for sure.
