Cool Let's clean up that trunk!

I removed the dealer's name tag from the trunk, and re-purposed part of it:
IMG_1562.JPG LOL, they haven't updated their tag since Boss Hogg bought his white Eldorado!

I removed part of the "Q" and used it for a "C"
    IMG_1564.JPG

Now swagging a unique UK Wildcat "CATS" logo
    IMG_1565.JPG
Also removed the wreath around the shield. I wish the front wreath was as simple to remove!

i did same kinda thing for a few days. i bought my car from PEACOCK caddy , i took off the pea. while they were finishing the paperwork. the general mngr was freaking out as he was congradulating me on the purchase. his eyes kept darting over and looking at it. i almost burst out laughing seeing how it was killing him. he didnt say anything to me though. i have since removed all the badges from the trunk.

Front wreath is held on with tape and comes off just as easy. However you will have two holes there

    This is funny!

I personally never drive away my brand new car from a dealer without having them remove their tag from my car! I can live with license plate frame, but an extra tag on my car from a dealer is a no no for me!

I agree. I once challenged the sales manager on the "advertising fee" line item on the bill of sale and told him, sarcastically, that I thought that was the fee the dealership was going to pay me for driving around the car I paid for with their dealership logo.

...you could hear crickets in the background prior to his fake laugh response.

I had a friend who absolutely never washed his car. He even had the glue from the window sticker on the window years after the purchase. This was in the early '90s. The dealer (not a GM brand) removed their license plate suround at one of his waranty visits. LoL

LOL... Is this the same guy and the same car that the dealer lowballed him as a polite way to decline taking in his car as a trade in and he immediately accepted the offer?!

Same guy. But the car they removed the license plate frame was his next car and another dealer.

I can still see the salesman's face when he accepted the lowball after he had hinted he needed high book for the trade. They couldn't even move the trade-in out of the parking spot because it had no remaining clutch. He couldn't even stop the car on the way to the dealer because he knew it was likely he couldn't get it rolling again.

Do not ask about when he sold the license frame car to a mutual friend a few years later.
