Nice man. I have been waiting to see this. Looks to be done right. Slammed down like that is hot on this car. Bags are the way to go. How much did this run you. A few of my boys have bagged rides and it's a nice ride. They have older cars but I like it on new cars as well.

I'd rather not say how much it cost but lets just say it was well over 3 grand

I respect that. Anyway looking forward to some more pics and or video. Nice to see people doing what they like instead of straight up factory.

I do not want to down someone's effort to change the way their vehicle looks however, it just does not appeal to me. As a matter of fact, it just down right looks broken. I guess this looks good to some people.

I guess I would associate it with something like, new blue jeans with tears in them being sold in in stores. You have to really like them to appreciate it.

    Nice effort.

I do hope everyone knows this goes back to normal ride height. And when you want it drops to the ground. You have the best of both worlds.

You could have at least prefaced that with: SPOILER ALERT

Well bags are"cheater buttons" IMO unless you're really into the low rider lifestyle and you need to hop and dance.... coilovers are the only way to go. Driving around static low takes much more on-road attention and driver ability than pressing a button when you see a bump or pothole. Otherwise, what's the point? Like training wheels on a bicycle. No guts, no glory. I understand the wear and tear and expense to the underside, but hey....why not go all the way? At least that's how it was back in the day with old school enthusiasts.

I never understood the "why" and "expense" and would NEVER do that to a cherished car of mine. However, I'm a product of the 60's and had plenty of friends who'd modified their Camaros, GTOs and mustangs who thoroughly enjoyed the mods....of course we are talking relatively cheap cars back then.....not 40 & 50 k cars like the ATS.

p.s. not being disrespectful, just teasing really.....but I still encounter the bag versus coilover crowd that debates this.....

bags offer a really great ride...coilovers kinda suck (harsh bouncey). as for me and my house, we will stick with inexpensive springs.

Yes. And that's why there is air ride in tractor trailers. Much better ride.

Actually, tractor trailers use air bags to adjust for load.

That's right. I have 40 trucks I dispatch out a night. There is also a bag type in our seats. It's load adjustment and comfort of driving the load. Not just for adjustment backing into a dock. The tractor also has air bags along with the trailers for a better ride. This isn't just for hooking to a trailer by dumping the air. The whole system is set up for ease of driving. 100% difference with them driving down the road.
This is just like my fathers old Lincoln that dropped in the back after it was shut off. It also had to have bags.

We also deliver to your neck of the city Boston. HPC food service.
