no need to get your panties twisted son, just asking a question.

    this may be helpful. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/....jsp?techid=92

the difference between 114.3 and 115 is extremely small. .03 of an inch.

Alright. For the record I didn't start this garbage.

I am well aware of metric and Imperial measurement differences of the 2 values. But just because it seems very small to you, doesn't mean it's very small for the stress/precision and all other related factors in this situation. When you tighten down the wheel, especially a none hubcentric one, each bolt you tighten, centers the whole wheel to that bolt. Eventually whichever lug nut had the most "tightening influence" (for lack of a better word) has the whole wheel centered to it. Obviously by a very small amount. While the other 4 lugs are bent inward for that other amount. The wheel being off center at this point, and the little bit of stress on the other lugs, is the reason why, say Cadillac, won't put 114.3 on your car and recommend against it. It's not a noticeable difference at all but I would rather have a true centered wheel than not. Don't look at my age and assume I'm an idiot or a "sucker born every minute". Use Google and see what others say about this on other forums.

Guys please take it outside if you need to discuss this do as Donavo suggested or start a new thread and argue to your heart content but be aware this has been discussed for years on the web with no consensus either way
This thread is about showing and discussing wheels for the ATS not to argue about 115 vs 114.3

    Completely agreed

And joe: I got the center caps from eBay. They're just custom domed stickers that go on top of the tsw ones you have. I'd say you need them Cuz the tsw ones are not the same color as your rim. The person I ordered from does custom logos, sizes. Pretty much anything.
This is where I got it: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...d=170976398376

cant believe tsw wouldnt make you custom pieces since they were kind enough to custom drill your wheels

I wonder if these will fit and work as winter wheels. They look decent, have our bolt pattern and are pretty light (Shipping weight 21.5pds) 5 x 115, +42, BS 6.092

It's not worth fighting over guys. If you look at all my threads were were guttered.stupid crap. It will go on until it's shut down then time off comes with infractions left on you're name. You will have jail time there so everyone can see it. Unless in person will never be solved. We all know that this has been going on forever with 114.3 and 115. Some will run it and some won't. For those that were sent 114.3 and they said they gave you 115. If something happened to you or your car you have a lawsuit. If I put on 114.3 and there were no problems mounting them I would run them. It's the holidays keep it clean.

....and there's the pcd variation lug nuts(wobble lugs) that will take up to 2mm of variance in bolt patterns. They are pricey but if you gotta buy lug nuts anyway, might be less expensive than having 114.3's drilled out to 115 and you won't have "modified" rims to sell in the future if you get tired of what you bought.

put some snow tires on your stock rims and have Tony hook you up with some sweet rims for the summer.

Jakb, what website might we find the wheels you mentioned?

Never mind, I found them. They actually look like the very same ones in the photos from D3.

Joel good idea. I'll ping Tony and see if Forge star has anything in 18s that'd look nice in 5x115
