Why is this not in my garage yet? Love it. Really dig that red interior package. I like the tan/shale package too, reminds me of my STS.

I'm not as excited with the exterior as I thought I'd be. But that's in pictures. The interior looks sweet, though. Could be best in class by a long shot...

In not thrilled with the exterior. It's not a "gotta have it" Cadillac (to me). But the interior may very well be raising the bar in its class. The way the car performs will be the deciding factor for many people. Overall, I think the Cadillac ATS is going to be a very hot seller.

Don't know about anyone else, but the only interior colors I can get my head around is the first one (above). Guess I need to see some of those in person before making a final decision. Can't wait to see a mesh upper and lower grill and a V on the side. A hand e-brake would be a plus. Can't wait to see one in the flesh at the NAIAS.
Car has an EPB. Electronic Park Brake. Unless you get a low spec one some of them have the good old foot pedal.

Exterior looks better in person, interior looks better in those renders.

    Yup. Hope to.

At 3,400 lbs of less, a 470 hp V8 would really rock. With launch control, do I hear 4 sec flat 0-60?

    Gen 1 V: 9.6 lbs/hp.

You and I agree entirely on this. Though it's been mentioned that the exterior looks better in person and the interior looks better in the pictures:

It looks like a CTS that was left in a wind tunnel for too long. That said, the proportions are correct and that short front overhang looks muscular. I would seriously considering buying one (like, a brand new one) if it drives as sharply as the interior looks.

In a way, it is. The CTS was Cadillac's entry level car. Now the ATS is. The CTS will no longer be an in-between'er. It'll be aimed directly at the 5-Series, as the ATS is aimed directly at the 3-Series...

Let's not forget they offer the ATS in AWD...A V model in AWD would be sick.

The way I see it Cadillac Dealers are going to have trouble selling CTS Sedans in 2013. It sounds as if the Coupe and Wagon will sell as they do today, but the ATS Sedan is going to cause many people to not even look at the CTS Sedan (outside the V).
