    New additions + a wash

Got bored with the plain wheels and painted them black until I get new ones. Also installed my 8000k HID's and tinted the windows 15% all around. Must say all the small additions did the car some justice. Wish there was a spring kit out for it then I'd prob be done with it.

Thanks guys. I used the OPT7 8000K, had to use the capacitors though which a friend of mine happened to have on hand.

Nice ! When you painted your wheels did you take them off the car ? If not how to avoid painting brake pads etc .

Have you considered blacking out the side brightwork too? Would work well with the black wheels IMO.

I took the wheels off the car, cleaned and prepped them thoroughly. I used black plasti-dip with the plasti-dip glossifier. I painted the wheels inside and out and only used the glossifier on the face of the wheels. I figured a gloss finish would look well with the black shimmer of the car. I did not want to paint them in case for some reason I wanted them back to stock color.

I have thought about it very deeply. I have never been a fan of "chrome" trim and accessories, a bit too flashy for me. I'm just not sure if I want to go that deep into painting those pieces. Just wanted the simple mods of lighting, wheels, and lowering. Trying to keep my project cars down to one for now lol.

You don't have to paint the window trim. Use vinyl wrap instead. Matte black will run $30.

Black center caps are $109 from e-bay. Just picked up a set for when my PVD black chrome my OE 18s.
