So I went to the Cadillac driving academy thing yesterday, it was held at Canadian Tire international Raceway (formerly known as Mosport) a 2.5mile long int.racetrack, what a blast, 8-5pm, lots of driving activities like Autocross, Accelerate/stops, Skid pad and drivers avoidance, slalom, lunch, breakfast, driving instructions, and of course, lapping on the racetrack (4 times lapping, 6 laps each time)
I gotta say this thing feels right at home on the race track, its just so fluid, I never once felt like I Was gonna lose control, whats funny is that I was whoopin on 3.6 CTS's all day long, they pulled ever so slightly on my on the straights but come the corners I was taking them all no problem and where the V's lost me on the straights I was right on there heels in the corners! gotta say this car really did handle the track like a champ.
I dont care how many times you topped it out in the sticks on a deserted road or how often you drove through mountain roads, this is something thats not comparable to any of those. If you've never tracked your ATS I highly recommend doing it, its an amazing experience, and you'll know what your car is truly capable of.
