Winter tires and making sure there are no brake issues

My red premium came with 18 inch wheels. The summer tires will not be suitable for winter weather although I'll have a short winter where I live. I plan on putting 17 inch wheels with winter tires. If I use the standard 17 size wheels that come with the luxury level ATS I assume I'll have no issue with the Brembo brakes. Is that correct? Just making sure before I buy. Sadly the dealer offered me a price of $1,000 more than if I get them through another avenue.

I have the 17" stock wheels (yea I know) with Brembo's - no issues.

Cool - thanks guys. Guess I'm good to go. The 18 staggered summer tires are a gas - not certain I've every hugged a road quite like this. But from what I've heard they will also lead me to the closest ditch in the event of snow and ice. Won't hurt to be able to change them seasonally.

    QUESTION HERE,

So i dont make another thread,

DO 17''/7'' Wide wheel fit on my ATS ? this webstore ensures me it will, i have hard time believing them. Will the wheel be inside the arch and look buttugly?

    Thanks !

Really depends on what the offset is. 7" wide rims are kind of thin.

With wheels that thin, won't you lose performance?
