No special equipment needed, although a lift makes it much easier.

Re: ATS Rear Sway Bar End Links - INSTALLED - WOW

I recieved the sway bar links today, plan on installing them over the weekend. I know polyurethane bushings need greasing, but im inexperienced in this sort of thing, starting out my mods small. Does the whole bushing need to be taken apart to be greased inside where the outer edge of the polyurethane makes contact with the inner part of the metal that holds it? Or is it just the faces that need lubrication? Also, i noticed the metal sleeve extends out past the bushing, does it need to be shaved down so the washer is laying flat on the bushing?
Thanks for answering my questions if you have time!

This may be put on my list of mods to do. I've experienced BWoody end links in past vehicles and was always impressed.

Just give Mike @ BWoody a call and he will gladly walk you through his recommended lub and installation tips. Those are mine in the initial post pics - and now with almost 20K miles on them, not one squeak, rattle or hummmm......

FYI, for those who are interested, I did go ahead and replace both my front and rear sway bar bushings with Energy Suspension universals. Nice upgrade and does not make a harsh ride - again, just firms things up a bit more. Note though, the front bushings are actually impregnated onto the bar itself and was a bitch to remove. The rears took 15 mins to change out.

Great info FDNY. I think I will wait until the ATS-V comes out and see what they have done for the "V" setup. I do like my BWoody rear links, they are worth the price.

Had my 2.0T for a year and been reading about these and finally took the plunge and got the BWoody end links. HUGE improvement! And an added bonus for me... Improved the ride... A little background:
'13 2.0T Performance with 6 speed manual, DIY catch can, modded air cleaner box with K&N filter.
The car came with the GM Performance wheels and tires which run 255/30R19s in back which apparently lowers the car shortening spring travel. I installed these last night and the raised rear was the first thing I noticed. The driving characteristics are awesome.. seems more planted on turns, especially if you put the power down, 2nd gear mid way through. Everybody should get them. If you run the GM Performance wheels or any wheel with lo pro tires, they are a must.

Seems crazy...No way these change the way the 'power' feels in second gear.

Probably a stupid question, but will these work on cars with mrc? Does it make the ride any harsher? Even in touring the car is a little sensitive, and sport mode is pretty harsh for everyday driving.

Re: ATS Rear Sway Bar End Links - INSTALLED - WOW

Wonder, how do these links compare to the performance links available from GM? Would links from an ATS V series be any better/worse?

    Thanks!

    Same power. Better traction.

    ----------

I don't have MRC so i can't say whether it will work or not.. no idea.

    ----------

Should work with AWD, i would imagine the rearend is the same. I would ask before buying though.
