I was driving to work this morning in my 2014 CTS sedan and noticed up ahead the distinctive taillights of a Cadillac but wasn't sure what it was (ATS, CTS, XTS) from that distance. As I got closer I saw that it was a black ATS coupe. I rarely see these on the road and it is absolutely STUNNINGLY beautiful in appearance! So much so that I might want one when my lease ends next year
The first one I saw in Pennsylvania was Black Raven and it looked very sharp, and it was passing me going the other direction. But, then I saw a Dark Adriatic Blue metallic ahead of me in traffic on Federal Highway while I was in South Florida--and it was gorgeous moving through the traffic ahead of me!!! From the rear, the ATS Coupe looked much larger than expected.
I wish it was larger - about the size of the classic old Coupe DeVilles, for example - but the ATS coupe is still a sensational looking car just as it is.
I've seen a couple of coupes on the road around hear.. And I must admit they do look sharp.. But.. Me personally.. Would not own a 2 door if it were given to me.. When they invented the 4 door pickup truck.. I thought that was the greatest invention since sliced bread..
I remember back when I was buying a 2002 Grand Prix new.. That was the last year that they were offering a 2 door Grand Prix (something I later found out).. Only 4 doors from then on.. The dealer had a beautiful 2 door on the show room floor.. And my salesman tried to push it off on me BIGTIME.. Offering discounts, and going in the back to talk to the sales manager, and coming back with an even lower price.. He had the wife ready to sign on the bottom line.. But there was no way in hell I was getting a 2 door.. I just don't like them..
But I'll say it again.. Those 2 door ATS's do look sharp..
I won't own anything but a car with 2 doors my only exception is for utility of an CUV or SUV, I normally wouldn't buy a UV but standard cab pickup trucks have all but gone away except for full sized trucks.
I have no use for a large truck, so the next best thing for me is a small CUV, I can get AWD and small hauling capacity and near 35 mpg.
I also have a 2015 ATS Coupe White Performance 3.6 AWD, I added, Magnaflow Muffler, KN filter, Rear Spoiler, Red brake covers, I got the ATS Oct 3 2014 and only saw 1 other one, is that good or bad ? Eddie, Long Island, NY
The sedan is definitely very attractive, but the coupe is so much more exclusive and upscale looking (in my opinion, of course) My new pride and joy......

You have to get the spoiler installed. It makes the car that much better. Mine also came with those polished wheels but had them swap them out for the other wheel option and it looks ten times better. Every one at the dealer wanted to see my car finished after they made the upgrades and all the sales guys and mechanics loved it.
