So I just happen to be on my dealer's website (MacMulkin Cadillac in NH) and I noticed how good the 2014 deals are right now as the 2015 model starts rolling in. No big revelation here I'm well aware they need to move them but it just caught my eye.
They were posting $5K - $6K discounts right off the bat with all models levels. I know they would take some more off as well with a little persuasion . Add to that there is still a $2500 rebate, you could end up with close to $10K off the sticker! That would be a great deal in NH and I assume for the rest of the Northeast.
Even more discounts on the 2014 CTS, almost $9K just to start, plus the $2500 rebate. If you want the ELR...$20K right off the top and a free charger worth $3K (can't give those away).
Some dam good deals for those in the market! Although this seems to be opposite of the plan we heard that reducing prices would lessen the brand, lol.
I just checked into one 2014 CTS Perfromance with a sticker price of 61,785. With the supplier price of 57,898 - 2500 loyalty - $4000 cash rebate* = 10,387 off msrp.
*Can get 0% in lieu of the $4,000 cash on all but V models.
I just picked up my wife an ATS luxury 2.0T...
Used. It was titled by GM. CarFax said it had 51 miles on it last month.
I bought it two weeks ago with 400 miles.
It was 12K less than the original window sticker.
It has every option available... Well except for the DRL. I am trying to score those now.
I love the looks of the 18" wheels, I just wish they were black instead of the polished aluminum.
That will change soon.
Absolutely love the car.
9.75 for an oil filter seems a bit step though.
They should give them to me since I don't live close to a Caddy dealer and my GM/Buick store can't wrench on Cadillac.

Your local GM dealer can service your Cadillac. Go to them and let them know you want to use them and there isn't a Cadillac dealer close to you. GM will authorize THAT dealer to repair YOUR car for warranty/maintenance.
I hope you bought your used Cadillac as "certified". It's the best program out there. Better than new.
My service manager was firm saying no, they cannot service the ATS.
They can do emergency repairs.
I have a line out to Cadillac/GM for a definite answer.
I have a close relationship with my local GM dealer.
I drive a Corvette and I traded a 45th Anv. Camaro RS for the ATS.
So they know me well at the back of the house.
Murphy, NC. Nearest is 1.5 in Cleveland, TN.
Two hours to Ashville, NC.
Two hours to Greenville, SC.
Two hours to Atlanta, GA.
Two hours to Knoxville, TN.
Two hours for a fifteen minute oil change is not realistic.
Five minutes to the Chevy dealership. I am in for that.
I really like the people in the service department of my local Chevy Dealership. Jackie Jones Chevrolet if you would like to know.
They have treated all of my cars great.
I also bake them cookies and that helps.
The GM rep is contacting them. I am hoping that their mind will change.
I like giving them my business.
I wish their sales team tried as hard as the service department.
It was news which I expected. It is unfortunate that GM dealers can't do the routine service.
But I will be doing it myself and posting "How To" Videos on Youtube.
Youtubes/ Google helped me pay for my Cadillac anyways.... RideWNC on the YouTubes please watch all of my videos, I need the money.
I think starting in August is the best time to look for ATS. Got my 2014 Premium for $15k off msrp (included incentives). It was a loaner in immaculate condition with 1500 miles on it. and it is the only loaner with my configuration in the area. I don't mind loaner coz i mma trade in at the end of warranty anyway. Car drives and looks like a superstar except for the darn moldy AC and the engine vibration at idle.
I found a local Premium trim car, with a manual transmission and 400 miles on it. They've had the car since April. I tried to get $9,500 off of it. You'd think I insulted them. I walked in on Wednesday ready to buy it. The first thing out of the salesman's mouth (I'd been e-mailing and talking with him over the phone for about 3 weeks already - he had my target price already) was, "Had you come in last month there were two incentives you could have gotten for a total of $1,500 more off, but the good news is Cadillac upped the cash-back by $500, so you only really missed out on $1,000 more you could have gotten off." I was in my head like "WTF?". I said "Okay, see ya later." They guy didn't even show me the car. He had it ready to show too; I had called earlier and told him I was on my way over. He could have sold me the car on Wednesday had he known what he was doing.
I wasn't really in the market for a new car but when I saw an ad for the ATS I became very interested in it. I went to my local dealer to test drive one (looking for 6-speed transmission) and was a bit underwhelmed by the performance and transmission, but decided that for a good price I will definitely take it. I am looking for a lease and the dealer told me a price on the spot that is on par or more than a BMW 328. Considering I'm looking at '14 models that have already been updated, I was pretty surprised to hear this. I visited and contacted a few more dealers and they all had roughly the same price.
They $3,500 advertised discount is only for purchases of a cadillac and do not apply to the leases. I can now see why the sales numbers are so low on this car...
When I leased my 2014 ATS in early September, the finance guy told me that Cadillac would be ending leases on the 2014 ATS in about a month since the 2015s were already on dealer lots, so any remaining 2014's would be buy or conventional loans only. I was surprised to hear this, and am not sure how truthful it is. Oh, and the lease deal I got was more than $100 lower per month than the lease I have on my 2012 BMW 128i convertible and the ATS had an MSRP $15000 more than the BMW!!! Even though I had 3 more months on the BMW lease I went ahead and got the Caddy now because the deal was just too good to pass up. I've only driven the BMW twice since getting the Caddy! LOL
I got a great deal yesterday, but my car is used. It's a 2014 2.0T. A guy bought it, put 260 miles on it, and traded it for a Maxima. The sticker was $39,800 and I got it for $28,500. I bought it before the dealership could even get the pictures posted. They had listed it as a 6-speed manual, which is what made me call them about it. It turns out that it wasn't, but I figured it's time for me to grow up and drive an automatic. It's a big change from my beloved 12 year old Passat.
Looking forward to reading this forum regularly. I had been wanting an ATS for a couple of years.
Congrats on the new ATS 2.0 which is a blast to drive even with the auto and welcome. Nothing finer than getting a great deal on something you have been wanting for a while, enjoy!
