Long time lurker first time poster. I have a 2013 ats great car hate the run flats. Anyways I have a question I recently hit a pothole and it messed up the headlight the light comes on the console. So I take the car to a dealership and I tell them the story about the pothole and the guy i am talking to doesn't look at it but says we can order you a new headlight for about 1300 because it is not covered under warranty since I caused it hitting a pothole. My question is I thought this would be covered I would think a headlight would be built to handle a bump in the road.

Go to a different dealer and just tell them you don't know what happened.

Re: Warranty question
Take it to another dealer - there's no way a simple pothole that didn't destroy the wheel, tire, or deploy the airbags should have messed up the headlight. Walk in and tell them the headlight doesn't work right - the why is irrelevant.
