    Fuel fuller door stuck

Went to get gas yesterday, with a 3+ hour drive pending, and the fuel filler door did not willingly open (I have the security package). No amount of unlocking and pushing in to get it to pop open helped. Finally, I tried placing my hand flat on the door and pushing it toward the front of the car and it popped open. Yikes, that could have been unpleasant. No ice or snow or dirt. Not very cold (about 0C maybe). When open I watched the lock and it seemed normal... Anyone else seen this?

There is a BCM software update for that Reference Bulletin # PI1045 Locking fuel door will not open or difficult to open.

    Hello pever,

I am sorry to hear that fuel door was hard to open in your ATS recently. I would suggest bringing this up to your dealership like CTSCHICK stated, there may be a bulletin regarding this. Please keep us updated if you decide to take your vehicle to the dealership. We will be on the lookout for your future updates!
