I put a S/C on the white camaro and blew up the #7 cylinder. Unfortunately, I was year or so too early on that car. Much better tuning solutions came out after sold the blower off it to buy a new bottom end.
Amen, same roads with same hills - ups and downs LOL. Mine was put back to stock, with a new crate engine, and I got rid of it as I'd probably only blow it up again. I can never seem to keep anything over 3 years so I'm hunting a new toy for next season now - variety is the spice of life!

Re: Ats 2.0 turbo drag strip times

I expect to see these cars go much quicker in the 1/4 mile as more mods are available, but the tuning alone is awesome to see the improvements!!! When we get our hands on one were going to go all out and see what can be had.

    Good job!

13.10 @106 is the best so far! Still working on it! I really need to put downpipe on car now!

    ----------

I probably won't get back to track with ATS again unless I head south this winter! A customer of ours just purchased CTS 2.0 turbo, we put intake and can on his car and today will have it on the dyno tuning it, hopefully weather holds out for tomorrow and we get chance to go with him to drag strip. Car should be able to run mid 13's. Cadillac did another fine job on the new CTS!

Best of luck with the research!

nice car sir looks familiar . My ls1 ta ran 13.8 stock with 5000 miles on it ,I didnt know how to drive well at that time. With intake and cat back I ran 13.2 @109 with stock tires. I wish I would have ran again aftet gears and long tube headers. No cats. LOUD.lol

Thanks, I had a trick exhaust setup made by a company called FLP (don't think they're in business any longer) whereby with removing just a couple clamps right behind the collector I could run cats, straight pipes, or just dumps right off the headers - basically open LT headers, that last was L O U D..LOL

    Ha!

Look at all the old characters here! Bill and Joel this is Chris P writing. Bill remember when I first took you out in my procharged 95? I'd like to think I was responsible for converting you over to GM and F-bods

Joel how many times did we hit the various tracks in MD when I lived down there?

I'm driving a 6spd CTS V wagon right now. 11.8 @ 120mph with an Air Raid and DR's as only mods.

FROSTY!!! How ya doing? IIRC on a cold day at cecil you would trap at or above 122 mph with the blower. Pretty darn good for its day.

Well dammnnnnnn, how you doing Chris!!! Small world buddy! Actually I went back to Ford for awhile with a Shelby, ran a twin to your 11.4 at 124 before it blew up LOL! So the Caddy is for da missus now and I'm biding time til something new catches my eye for a replacement toy of my own. I still got pics around somewhere of that day you first broke 11's in the '95, I'll see if I can dig 'em up

Bill - Nice! I'd love to see any old pics!

Joel - Did you mod the vette afterwards? Are you still in touch with Brian and folks?

I'm getting into a phantom grey RWD 2.0 automatic, love the V, hate the mileage!

Chris, the vette has bolt-ons+ mild cam + 3.90s. Added PFADT's JOC shocks & sways. With LG rims I was able to squeeze 275/325s Nittos on the narrow body. Haven't seen Brian in a while.

The ATS turbo is fun, but it's going to need some mods to keep you happy.

IhuntV8, sorry about the hijack. I definitely watching your results and looking forward to see how you package it all up.
