    Tire Valve Stems and TPMS

    Hi all, just got a 2014 ATS 2.0T and this is the first car I've owned with TPMS. I always put aftermarket chrome valve cover sleeves and caps on my cars, but I'm wondering if that has any effect on the TPMS?
    Does anyone use these on their cars?

    Makes no difference, as long as they fit correctly, go for it.

    TIA a tire industry icon says no. May cause corrosion. Be careful

    It will not affect tpms in any way, however I have seen lots of metal caps corroded on the valve stem and you then have break off and replace, I'd suggest against it.

    Maybe a dab of grease or anti seize on the threads would help ensure the caps come off.
