Has anyone experienced a weird bubbling in their window? I took a picture of it. It's of my driver side window along the top middle and it's in-between the two pieces of glass.

I've not rolled the window down in a while and just noticed it a few days ago. This is bizarro!

I'm assuming this is covered by the warranty...

    Hello ATSigma,

If this is determined to be a defect than this should be covered under the warranty. Are you taking your vehicle to have them look into this soon? I would be happy to assist you in setting up the appointment if you would like. Please let me know if you would like to further discuss this by private message. Thank you very much for your time.

yup, defect in the safety glass, we had a few XTS come through with that, no big deal just get it replaced under warranty.

There are two layers of glass with plastic between them ... sort of a plastic sandwich. That makes it safety glass so it doesn't fracture into shards if it's broken. And it's delaminating.

Are you sure it isn't a special bonus decorative feature? Y'know ... Salesman: "Don't tell anyone; others have to pay extra to cover the designer's royalty."

Thanks everyone! I'll get it checked out so it can be replaced. It's pretty gross looking.

Sounds like a lamination issue either vinyl not flat when laminated or not cooked in autoclave long enough

Door glass isn't laminated like the windshield. It's tempered glass. If you look carefully at the window you can see the "tempered" marking on the glass.
