    Black Chrome ?

    Ive been looking to black out the chrome on my 2013 ATS. Anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about this? Thanks

    Plasti-dip or vinyl wrap. Neither are permanent. Painting over chrome usually doesnt wear well or take rock chips very well. Plasti dip can be difficult to do yourself but you can practice before hand. The texture isnt great but from 5+ feet back you wouldnt know. It comes flat black but you can buy a glossifier. I recommend a professional vinyl wrap, it looks flawless and you can choose your type of black or any other color.

    Why not start with the genuine grille and rear bumper trim accessories?

    They're very reasonably priced. They are however 'black chrome' rather than 'blacked out chrome'
