    Dipped Wheels & V Badges..Take A L@@K

Probably one of the worst things GM did to the ATS was poor wheel choice. Well until I save up for an adequate replacement, I decided to dip the stock 17'' rims. Black on black is too obnoxious for me, so I decided to go white. bronze would have been my second choice. the white makes the wheel pop and adds a sportier look to the car. i couldn't be happier with the results. cost 30 bucks, took a couple hours of my time. best part is, it's reversible. rubber paint that peels off, yet highly durable. Also de-badged the ats and 2.0t and slapped on some v badges for shits and gigs. let me know what you think

Plasti dipping was huge on the cobalt forum, I suppose its alright but its no substitute for a proper paint job/PC

But yeah the wheels on these cars look like shit, I dont really even like the 18's that much TBH. I love white wheels and think it looks pretty good, Murdered out is pretty played out, and like you said, plasti dip pulls right off, so no harm done.

Oh and the V badging, looks cool but not something I would have done, once the real V comes out a lot of the owners will get butthurt about it haha! but to each his own I guess. I just dont like it, its was like when guys with base cobalts slapped SS badging on them, it was just.... wrong

lol u said what i was trying to avoid saying. but thats exactly what happened.

to OP. i was also considering dipping the wheels white. but i didnt cuz im prolly too lazy and the reason the wheels are colored the way they are is cuz they match ur door handles, grill outline, window trims and under the trunk trim. if i dipped the wheels i would do all of that too. so far i was considering doing pearly white. or anthracite. but again....too lazy.

i do like ur wheels though.

    Wheels look great.

I can understand removing the ATS badges because badges suck. But then you stuck other badges on?!?!?
