I had a Verano too they suck on gas mileage.

Drove the 2.0T AWD Premium and the car is a hoot! I would like to see better mileage and a little less cramped space but otherwise a nice car. BTW we had no issues with the CUE system, go figure. Obviously Audi & BMW have it beat mileage wise but this car is fun to drive and its still a USA product.
I have a 2.0T that i drive with a pretty heavy foot. my current average for the the past 3k miles is at 23mpg. once on my commute to driving at 65mph, i hit the reset and was getting around 30mpg .
Oh no they don't. Even Verano Turbos are pushing 500 mile tankfuls and mid-to-upper 30's.
Get the turbo. Much smoother than 2.5l
Resale value in the future for the 2.5 will be the worst out of the 3 options. There will be much higher demand for used 2.0t's and 3.6's. The $1800 diff between the 2.5 and 2.0t also includes the braking upgrade, the dual exhaust tips, and a much more enjoyable drive. I would bet that the 2.5 used car value will depreciate faster than the 2.0t to the pace that your $1800 initial savings would be lost and then some within 3-5 years.
